WHAT IS TRENDBARK

Independent trend intelligence for the interior industry. Rooted in field research, built for real decisions.

TRENDBARK is a professional foresight platform created by Elisabetta Rizzato, architect, trend strategist, and founder of ITALIANBARK®,

It was born from a simple observation: in a landscape saturated with images and data, what most design teams actually lack is not more information. It is direction. A coherent, reliable read of where things are going, and why it matters for their products, collections, and spaces.

TRENDBARK exists to provide exactly that.

Built on over a decade of continuous field research — Milan Design Week, international material fairs, emerging creative scenes across Europe and beyond — it translates cultural and aesthetic signals into structured CMF directions, visual frameworks, and strategic tools that design professionals and brands can actually use.

ABOUT ELISABETTA RIZZATO

Trained as an architect in IUAV Venice and in interiors at Central Saint Martins in London, Elisabetta left studio practice to build ITALIANBARK, that was originally a personal blog, now an internationally recognized design research platform with a global community of designers, architects, and brand professionals.

Over more than a decade of continuous publishing, field research, and direct dialogue with the design industry, she developed a structured methodology for reading design change, focused on longevity, not hype.

Her work has been recognized by Amara Awards, HuffPost, and Vogue Australia. She has collaborated and advised with Italian and international brands brands including Mohawk Industries, Interprint, IKEA, Marazzi, and speaks at international design events including Maison & Objet and Interzum Cologne.

In 2022, this practice took its current form as TRENDBARK: a platform dedicated to translating ongoing research into structured intelligence for the design industry.
