TRENDBARK ATELIER is the bespoke consultancy practice led by Italian trend strategist and interior architect Elisabetta Rizzato.
I work with interior, furniture, surface, colour and material brands to translate changes in design and taste into actionable directions for future products and collections, bespoke category research and design scouting.
Strategic direction for future products and collections, translating shifts in trends&taste into clear, actionable guidance. Depending on the project, this can include colour, materials, finishes, forms, aesthetic territories, interior applications, product opportunities and storytelling cues. It can also include reviewing an existing or developing collection to identify new opportunities, validate a direction before production or rethink current products through a new lens.
Custom research built around your specific product category, market, audience or business question. Rather than a generic trend report, the research connects broader cultural and design changeswith practical implications for your company, distinguishing between mainstream, emerging and more directional signals and translating them into relevant colour, material, finish, style and product directions.
On-the-ground research and scouting focused on the design industry, with particular strength across Italy, Milan and Venice. This can include emerging brands and designers, suppliers, manufacturers, materials, products, craftsmanship, retail concepts and relevant signals from fairs and design events. The aim is not simply to show what is new, but to filter what is relevant for your assortment, product development, sourcing, positioning or market strategy.
For international companies looking towards Italy, this can also include targeted Italian and Venetian manufacturer and craft scouting.
.
ATELIER works primarily with companies across the interior and design industry, including furniture, tiles and ceramics, surfaces, paint and colour, flooring, wallcoverings, materials, home décor and other interior products.
Projects are developed internationally, with particular expertise in Italian and European design, manufacturing and material culture.

An ongoing yearly consultancy supporting future collection development for a furniture and décor company.
The work translates emerging shifts in trends and taste into clear directions across colour, materials, finishes, forms, patterns and product applications, giving the internal team a consistent framework for product development, styling and visual direction throughout the year.
A custom yearly trend forecast developed specifically for the tile and surface sector, connecting broader cultural and lifestyle shifts with future directions in colour, materials, finishes, patterns, forms and interior applications. The research was designed as both an inspiration tool and a strategic resource for future product and collection development.
On-the-ground research during Milan Design Week combining trend analysis, product and material scouting, supplier research and the identification of established and emerging Italian brands. The findings were filtered into practical recommendations for product selection, showroom merchandising, client presentations and future sourcing.
Projects can be one-off assignments or develop into ongoing advisory support alongside internal design, product or marketing teams.
Every client and project is personally led by me. For larger or more complex assignments, I may involve trusted trend forecasters and specialists from my international network, while remaining the main point of contact and ensuring a consistent direction throughout the project.
Because this work is highly tailored, larger projects are usually scheduled in advance.
